Bangles of Hope was launched in 2003 by Amanda Kern, Founder and Director of Sales. As a Registered Nurse who wanted a way to continue to support the healthcare community during her nursing sabbatical when her son was born, Amanda began making bracelets for fun, but it wasn't long before her part time hobby was a full time business, and Bangles of Hope launched its first Web site. After partnering with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to donate to the organization 50% of the profits of all Cystic Fibrosis jewelry sold on the Web site, Bangles of Hope's business expanded dramatically.
Jen Schaefer had worked as a professional Web designer for close to 10 years prior to joining her sister as partner and Director of Marketing and Web Services for Bangles of Hope.
